At Lerne Adams Foundation, our impact is measured by the tangible changes we bring to the informal settlements, semi-urban areas, and rural communities we serve.
Initiated in 2019, we work with poor single parents (widows, divorcees) aged 18-35 in Homabay town, Karachuonyo, Kasipul Kabondo, Rangwe, and Suba. We provide group therapies, revolving funds, and health financing mechanisms to improve their health status and build self-reliance.
Our peace consortium addresses political and ethnic violence that reverses development gains. We promote peaceful, social, political, and economic co-existence amongst the communities of Western Kenya.
We provide sensitization, education, and skills development for adolescents regarding abstinence from risky behavior and substance abuse. Our education program targets vulnerable children and orphans, ensuring they stay in school and monitoring their academic progress.
