Safeguarding & Protection
The Lerne Adams Foundation is dedicated to the protection of vulnerable individuals in
the Lake Victoria Region. Our safeguarding policies ensure that all our Community
Activities including Women Barrazas, Community Teens Ambassadors, and Male Champions are
conducted in safe, secure environments free from Gender Based Violence and exploitation.
Protecting the Vulnerable
Our focus is on Informal Settlements, Semi-Urban areas, and Rural communities. We target:
- Children
& Orphans: Taking children to school whose guardians cannot support
their Education, shaping character, and monitoring academic progress.

Adolescents: Facilitating comprehensive learning for adolescents in
and out of schools regarding abstinence from risky behavior, alcohol, and drug
abuse.
- Single
Parents: Working with widows, divorcees, and separated individuals to
provide counseling, revolving funds, and health financing mechanisms.
